Maya Gustave is a first-year participate in the Girls Write Now Digital Media Program. She lives in Brooklyn, New York and attends Kingsborough Early College Secondary School as a sophomore. Though reading is a main hobby of hers, she enjoys exploring writing in different formats, and looks forward to creating stories digitally in this program. Maya aspires to express herself through documentaries, pictures, and podcasts. Overall, she hopes to gain more knowledge and experience about digital media as a whole.

Milan is a New York City based writer, author, visual & makeup artist and creative project manager. Writing is her best form of self expression and exploration and a vivid component of her life's purpose. She is the founder and  editor-in-chief of culture and lifestyle blog, AGrlCanMAC.com, a contributing writer for blogs and online publications and was the senior beauty editor for online publication; EXUDE Magazine.  She also published an e-Book last year on natural hair care titled, "Fine Natural Hair, Don't Care." Her work's intention is to inspire and encourage people.  

She is excited to be involved in the Girls Write Now Digital Media Program to geek out with young girls who enjoy writing as much as she does, contribute what she has learned along her journey, learn from her mentee and learn more about writing and digital media platforms.
