Born and raised in Harlem, Maxx Carr loves novels, British television, and the musical stylings of Regina Spektor, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Queen. When her nose is not in a book, she is writing, spending time with her friends, or eating her favorite foods. She currently attends the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and lives with her parents and three bookcases.

Sarah Zabrodski is a Canadian (by birth and heart) currently living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. She grew up in Calgary, Alberta, where she was a competitive synchronized swimmer and spent summers selling cotton candy at the annual rodeo. Sarah has a MA in art history from New York University, which she uses as an arts writer and editor, working for publications and websites such as The Art Bulletin, Art Journal, The Getty Iris, Artsy, and Hyperallergic. Sarah loves art and language and the combination of the two.
