Daleelah Saleh is a sophomore at the Baccalaureate School for Global Education. She is in GWN first and foremost because she adores writing from the bottom of her heart. Perhaps more importantly, because she has finally reached a point at which she's realized that her voice is powerful, and that she wants to use her words to make positive change. At the moment, her favorite genres to write in are poetry and flash fiction, and genres she loves reading are magical realism, fantasy, and memoir. When she is not writing or reading, she can be found playing guitar, taking photos, or baking. Her favorite quote is “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it” -Paulo Coehlo, The Alchemist.

Livia Nelson is a writer and digital designer who produces websites, games, videos, and social campaigns. This is her first year as a GWN mentor and she is very excited! She grew up in the cottage in the woods Connecticut and attended schools in Boston, Berlin, London, and North Carolina, where she studied English Literature, Creative Writing, and German. She is currently a producer at the digital agency Sanborn, and is the founder of yeahwrite.co, an online community of over 140,000 aspiring writers. In her free time she likes to knit, rock climb, travel, and eat things with hot sauce. She lives in Astoria with her boyfriend.
